TeX is a typesetting system so general in scope, that it is even possible to typeset music with it. This list gathers all people interested in talking about TeX-based system and preprocessors which let people write music: examples are MusiXTeX, and the preprocessors PMX, M-Tx. Everyone is welcomed to join the list: to reduce spam, only subscribers may post to the list, but subscription does not require approval. The first incarnation of the list was carried on by the late Werner Icking, who also set up a web site to gather all information together. You are invited to visit the Werner Icking Music Archives at http://icking-music-archive.org where you will find beautiful sheet music and software to create it.
